IATEFL IP&SEN SIG and ReSIG are thrilled to announce the Call for Presentations for their upcoming Joint Online Conference: Mind the Research Gap: Teacher-Led Inquiry into Inclusive Practices.

This event invites proposals related to any of the following areas:

• Inclusive education practices
• Differentiated instruction
• Cultural responsiveness
• Support for students with disabilities
• Language and literacy development
• Social and emotional learning
• Teacher collaboration and professional development
• Technology in inclusive education
• Assessment and evaluation

We welcome submissions from research conducted as part of formal qualifications, such as degrees, as well as Action Research, Teacher Research, or Classroom Research-based inquiries.

Participation Formats:

• Talks: 15-20 minutes, followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A session.
• Poster Presentations: 10-15 minutes, with an interactive session of 10-15 minutes for participant engagement.

Selection Criteria:

• Relevance to the event themes
• Originality and innovation
• Practical application and audience engagement

Submission Instructions:

1. Write a title for your presentation.
2. Write a 50-word paragraph abstract for your session.
3. Write a 150-word summary of what you are going to do in your session.
4. Submit your proposal (title, abstract and summary) by Monday, 30th September 2024, to https://forms.gle/1kkGnUWSkc8byRvE6
