Call for papers

“Inclusion through Technology”

The IATEFL Inclusive Practices and SEN SIG (IP&SEN SIG) & Learning Technologies SIG (LTSIG) invite proposals for contributions to an online event to be held on May 29th, 2021. The event will be hosted on the Zoom platform.

We are looking for 45-minute sessions which will inspire English teachers when teaching learners with specific learning differences (SpLD) through the use of learning technologies. This could include (but is not restricted to) talks about:

• technology to support the visually or hearing impaired (face-to-face or online);

• apps to support learning in an online environment;

• the use of technology and assistive technology in English language teaching to learners with SpLD;

• maintaining student and teacher well-being through or when using technology.
