June 2020 update

IP&SEN SIG June bulletin

September 2020 Online event with ATECR (Czech Republic)

IP&SEN SIG is happy to be working with the Association of Teachers of English of the Czech Republic (ATECR) to present an online event to be held on September 11th and 12th, 2020.
We invite proposals for 45-minute sessions which will inspire English teachers to push themselves and their learners beyond their current limits.  Please see the website for more information.

Global survey
We would be grateful if you could take a moment to complete this member survey on Inclusive Practices around the world. Please complete it referring to your habitual working patterns, rather than to recent changes.

  1. #IPSENChat

On the 1st of June we had great interaction on twitter on the topic of implementing inclusive practices in online teaching and learning. Join us for the next round on Monday July 6, 2020.

Find us on social media: on twitter @IPSENSIG and facebook IATEFL IP&SENSIG and please let us know what topics you would like to discuss. What’s on your mind? Share your suggestions at #IPSENChat.

  • #relaxingroutines

Now, more than ever our routines are important, inside the classroom and out. This month #IPSENChat will continue talking about  #relaxingroutines, so join in, share your thoughts and ideas and hopefully pick up some tips.

  • Interviews

Stay Tuned for an exciting interview prepared by the Newsletter Team with Linda Hodgson about  the importance of using visual materials with autistic learners, to be posted on our Website https://ipsen.iatefl.org/ and Facebook Group IATEFL IP&SENSIG  during the coming few days.

We are currently collecting articles for the 6th edition of our newsletter, which will come out later this year. If you would like to write for us, please visit our website to find out more.
